About the Speaker
David “Goldy” Goldstein stumbled into politics in 2003 with a satirical statewide initiative to officially proclaim Washington’s serial anti-tax initiative sponsor, Tim Eyman, “a horse’s ass.” A year later, Goldstein transformed his campaign website, www.HorsesAss.org, into a political blog that quickly became one of the most influential and widely read state and local political blogs in the nation. Goldstein hosted “The David Goldstein Show” on 710-KIRO from 2006 through 2008, and is currently a staff writer for Seattle’s alt-weekly The Stranger — his writing has also appeared on the Huffington Post and in The Nation.

We hope to see you!
