Huffpost article about greedy CEOs, accompanied by anti-tax video at bottom of page

The Huffpost article CEO Council Demands Cuts To Poor, Elderly While Reaping Billions In Government Contracts, Tax Breaks reports: “The companies represented by executives working with the Campaign To Fix The Debt have received trillions in federal war contracts, subsidies and bailouts, as well as specialized tax breaks and loopholes that virtually eliminate the companies’ tax bills…”

But when I visited that article’s page on Huffpost, I heard a video begin to play. I scrolled down to the bottom of the page and there was an interview provided by WSJ with Rudy Giuliani in which the ex-mayor strongly denounced the inefficiency of government and claimed that cutting taxes is the right path. It was a one-sided interview; Guliania did almost all the talking and the interviewer didn’t challenge him cogently.  I felt cheated. I had visited the page expecting to see a strong progressive pro-tax message. The session was hijacked by a video that turned on automatically.

My question: why was this anti-tax message played on the bottom of the page? Did WSJ pay for it?   Murdoch? Charles Koch?  Is it a placed ad?

Of course, when in office Republicans do all in their power to make government inefficient and corrupt; for example, they protect t the military budget, they subsidize Big Oil, they weaken IRS auditing and FBI white collar crime prevention.  And then they turn around and say: look how inefficient government is. And they overlook all the good that government does and can do.
