Two Seattle-area events on Thursday: stop Reichert, protect Medicare & Social Security
Why is it that conservatives have been able to escape accountability for their inhumane priorities?
That’s starting to change.
Soup Kitchen at Dave Reichert’s office
Norm Conrad of MoveOn reports that on Thursday the 18th at 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Working Washington is bringing the reality of job loss to Dave Reichert’s doorstep at his Mercer Island office: 2737 – 78th Ave SE, Mercer Island. This will be a themed event, reliving the soup kitchens and bread lines of the First Republican Great Depression. Soup WILL be served. For those of you who participated in this past week’s event, it’s the same place.
This Thursday evening, August 18, at the Labor Temple, will be a follow-up Public Meeting to the Medicare Birthday rally.

Nick Licata will keep the evening constructive.
In case you missed the first event, below is a video of the No Cutbacks to Medicare Birthday Rally and March, and also an information sheet that was handed out to the public.
