America the Battleful (Oh Beautiful for Endless Wars!)
Using my own lyrics and Suno.com for the music, I created this variation of America the Beautiful. Imagine that it’s sung by a neoconservative or by, say, the CEO of Lockheed Martin.

1. 2. 3. O beautiful for endless wars, Oh beautiful for arms races Oh beautiful for wars provoked, For searing waves of pain, Whose profits are immense, By coups and covert schemes. For vicious bombing travesties For bombs and guns yield ample funds, For C.I.A.-armed militias, Above the ravaged plain! At peoples' great expense. For cover-ups obscene. America, America America, America, America, America, God shed his tears on thee. Your war machine marches on, The war drums never cease. And crown falsehood with orphanhood Exploiting fears for countless years, And those who die can't question why, From sea to blood-drenched sea! With lives and truth undone. While living folks are fleeced. 4. 5. Oh beautiful for blinding lies, Oh beautiful for endless lies, That fuel the war machine, Disguised as noble cause, With flags unfurled and hatred hurled For glory sung by silver tongue The truth is rarely seen. And arms merchants' applause. America, America, America, America, Your leaders fan the flames, Your dreams were made malign. And in the din of hate and lies, The land of the free is now merely They play their deadly game. An empire in decline.
Here is a different version of the song above, with a different melody.
Senior U.S. diplomats, journalists, academics and Secretaries of Defense say:
The U.S. provoked Russia in Ukraine
For example, Jack Matlock (former U.S. Ambassador to the USSR under Ronald Reagan) said in a 2024 interview: “Why don’t we understand that trying to remove Ukraine from Russian influence and put military bases there would be, in their case, absolutely unacceptable and worthy of defense?” Matlock said the U.S. backed the 2014 coup, and “Obviously, to any Russian leader, not just Vladimir Putin, that would have been an absolutely impossible, hostile act, which they had to react to. And in particular, they were not going to lose their naval base in Crimea.” Finally, Matlock said the Ukrainians are “dominated in their thinking by neo-Nazis — we tend to ignore that, or when Putin points it out, we say he’s lying. He’s not lying.”
