Aquene Freechild speaks on overturning Citizens United, in Kirkland, Wala Wala, and Spokane

Public Citizen is sending Aquene Freechild to Washington to conduct three workshops on “How to connect across party lines.” They will focus on the issues of money in politics, campaign reform, and reversing the Citizens United decision. These events are free and open to the public.Â

Some Republicans are anti-war. And some Republicans oppose the corrupting influence of money in politics. But I’m skeptical about connecting across party lines on the issue of money in politics.  I don’t expect that most Republicans would vote against their own-self interest on this issue. So I’m curious what Aquene Freechild has to say.
