BE IT RESOLVED THAT WE, THE NINETY-NINE PERCENT OF THE PEOPLE of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in order to form a more perfect Union, by, for and of the People, shall elect and convene a NATIONAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY the week of July 4, 2012 in the City Of Philadelphia to prepare and ratify a PETITION FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES on behalf of the Ninety-Nine Percent of the People of the United States to be served upon the United States Congress, United States Supreme Court and President of the United States prior to November 6, 2012.”

  1. UPDATE:

The founder of the 99% Declaration resigned from the Board of Directors and proclaimed this morning that he had fired the Board as is his right as the “corporate owner” and appointed a new Board of Directors. Several of those he appointed had not even been asked and subsequently declined the offer.

    Further, he stated that

“I am on the new board. I resigned from the old board that has now been replaced by the corporate owners. The board serves at the pleasure of the corporate owners….only the opinion (sic) of the three corporate owned (sic) matter.”

The ONLY opinions that matter are those of the corporate owners. Not the duly appointed Board of Directors or the volunteers who’ve spent countless hours building the organization and recruiting new members or the 99% of Americans the group purports to represent.

I thought you should know the truth.
