2012 East King County Candidate Forums

I promised you I would give you a schedule of this fall’s campaign forums when they were all arranged in case any of you have the time to attend any of them. There are six forums this year. Two are in Issaquah, two in Maple Valley, one on Snoqualmie Ridge and one in Bellevue. Most do allow time for questions from the audience and they are mostly attended by members of the Republican Party. So it would be good for a few Democrats to show up. We may or may not tape some of these events. If you are coming, email me back and I may bring my video recorder and let you record the debate.

At Issaquah City Hall South, Council Chambers, 135 East Sunset Way, Issaquah, WA.  The candidate forum will also be video-taped. Candidates customarily give a two-minute speech followed by a timed question and answer period.  Each candidate is given equal opportunity to respond to questions from the audience.  Refreshments are provided following the forum to give candidates and citizens a chance to visit.
