The purpose of our website is to explain the drawbacks of charter schools and provide options for REAL education reform. The topic of how to best reform our public schools is important because billionaires are spending millions of dollars to put a charter school initiative on the ballot for the fourth time this fall. This is ironic because the main reason our children are forced to attend some of the lowest funded most overcrowded schools in the nation is that billionaires are not paying their fair share of State taxes.

Diverting public dollars to charter schools managed by private corporations would make our public schools even more overcrowded. Charter schools would divert millions of dollars away from our public schools at a time when school funding in our State is already at a record low.
